Day 2, getting down to business!
Today was the day that we got down to business. I got some serious progress done in the studio and we all had studio visits with Beulah. Beulah van Rensburg is the artist residency director. She’s awesome. She’s an artist herself, a curator, oh..and she’s owned galleries on three continents! Yes, I said three! She also sits on the curatorial board at Artfinder. That’s right…”Artfinder!”
I was a bit nervous and excited to tell her about my project and my vision for the piece that I’m working on. I believed she liked my idea and I was told, “I don’t have to worry about you”. I’ll take that as a very good sign! lol.
In the days to come…. I’m going to start featuring artists from the group, more project progress pics and discuss what I’m actually working on here.
