Today, my friend Kelsey showed up! Her, Louis and my sister-in-law, Jill, will be joining me here in Iceland after my residency. Kelsey came early to see more of Iceland. Since I left the studio and found a good stopping point on Medusa, we decided to go see one of the worlds most beautiful waterfalls. But don’t worry, I will be completing Medusa when I get home, so please continue to follow my blog! In the meantime, I will be finishing up my residency and touring around Iceland, so please enjoy the fun stuff I will still be posting here!

Today, we went Goðafoss. The waterfall of the gos. It is a waterfall in northern Iceland. It is located along the country’s main ring road at the junction with the Sprengisandur highland road, about 45 minutes from Akureyri, Iceland’s second largest city. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.

AND…….We have NORTHERN LIGHTS! It truly was a bucket-list moment to see them. What a wonderful day!
