Today I had to say goodbye to everyone in Blonduos. It was bitter-sweet. I had such an amazing time here and I will definitely be back, if they will have me! Here is our group pic, missing two ladies who left early. And….of course I made everyone a hat!! 

It was sad to say goodbye but I was also looking forward to going back to Reykjavik to be a tourist and explore more of beautiful Iceland. I will NEVER forget this place. And whether you are an artist or not, I recommend that everyone should visit this amazing place. Your life will be richer for it.

The three hour car ride back down to the capital was stunning. It was a strange state of being to be sad, missing new friends and the place I called home for a month, and excited to move on to the next portion of my adventure. 

Medusa was safely packed up into her suitcase. I decided to scrap the framework of her tail (keeping the crochet part), and will recreate after getting home.
