Today was cloudy and rainy but it didn’t stop the pack from hitting the local thrift shop! It’s small but has lots of little treasures to find. I think everyone found something. You fill up a bag and they charge you 1000 kr which is about $7.30 US. It was a lot of fun.

Back in the studio working on crocheting the tail skin. This part of the tail is monotonous, but will look stunning when it’s complete. It is also a lot of repetition so just back-and-forth, back-and-forth. I like to listen to fast paced music like techno while I crochet large areas that are fairly plain.

My roommate is Kattrin, she is from Germany and is doing a variety of things while she is here. She is pictured here doing tapestry weaving. We have a whole house to ourselves, which is a nice break from the main studio and dormitory.

Music: Techno Mix, Soundtrack from Run, Lola, Run

  1. Did the weavers have to ship their looms, or do they have some permanently in the studio?

    1. Hi!
No they belong to the textile center. They also have a tech lab with TC2 machines, and digital embroidery machine and a felting machine. Great place for weavers!
